Join Valley Village friends to visit this Northern Shenandoah antebellum plantation that began in the 18th century and still farmed today. The historic site of Belle Grove includes the Jeffersonian inspired Manor House, original icehouse and smokehouse, enslaved burial ground, heritage apple orchard, teaching garden, and early 20th century barn, all set against a background of splendid mountain views. After the tour at 10:30, we'll head for lunch at Shaffer's Barbecue close by before heading home.
